ABOUT THE EVENT
This is our annual European ski event that aims to assemble a small, elite group of global business executives with one common goal: to learn from one another’s personal and professional experiences against the inspiring backdrop of the Swiss Alps. Think fantastic people and networking in a fun and memorable environment – combined with the opportunity to partake in some of the best skiing and boarding that Europe has to offer.
LODGING
Our base for the weekend will be the Experimental Chalet, one of Verbier’s hottest hangouts from one of the coolest hotel brands. Situated in the centre of the village, and a short walk away from the main lifts, the hotel is complete with ski room and boot warmers and an incredible cocktail bar that we’ll be eyeing up for après.
Verbier is a bucket list location for snow sports fans from around the world, known as the freeride capital of Europe, the off-piste options are incredible, while also catering to those who prefer a little less risk on the slopes!
The village is a classic chocolate box Swiss paradise, with some of the best après and dining options Switzerland has to offer.
Boasting over 400km of pistes, the 4 Vallées ski area combines six resorts, interconnected to provide some of the best snow sure skiing in Europe.

What is the cost?
For invited guests, TransPerfect covers round-trip coach airfare, lodging, return airport transfers from the airport to Verbier and all organised activities and meals, including lift tickets and gear rentals (should you choose to rent). You are responsible for getting yourself to and from your home airport and all on-site incidentals. That’s it!
How do I get there?
International guests will fly to Geneva airport and then take a 1.5-2 hour car transfer to Verbier. For those who are local there is also an option to drive or travel via train.
What’s the agenda?
There is no structured agenda; however, we will arrange for several focused roundtable discussions on topics in varying areas. What you get out of this event is directly proportional to what you put in. The people we invite, both on the client side and on TransPerfect’s side, all have very valuable information to share, and over the course of our several days together, we hope that you’ll seek out as many others as you can.
Is this just a social event?
No, it’s a business event. Just because there isn’t a formalised all-day agenda of sessions doesn’t mean that the primary purpose of this event isn’t learning. We expect all in attendance to come prepared to share their knowledge and learn from other client attendees and TransPerfect team members, be that at the roundtable discussions, on the ski lifts or over meals/drinks.
Can I bring my spouse/significant other/a guest?
No, sorry. As an immersive business networking event, our primary goal is to ensure as much interaction and relationship-building among the group as possible. While we’re confident that your spouse (or other guest) is a lovely person, we’d strongly prefer that you attend this event on your own.
What is the dress code?
As with most resort towns, ski gear is completely acceptable almost anywhere – for non-mountain activities, feel free to pack casual attire such as denim, sweaters, etc. Be sure to pack layers!
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
No. You certainly can bring your own gear, but if you need rentals, all you need to do is let us know in advance.
What is your policy regarding COVID-19?
We will review global and local COVID-19 guidelines nearer to the trip and communicate regarding those as necessary.
